VERY MINT!! Ben Wade 100 Preben Holm Danish Estate Pipe Welcome to Great Estate Pipes! I make it my goal to have the nicest estate pipes on Ebay... or anyw! FRESH PIPES DAILY! You are bidding on a STUNNING and VERY MINT BEN WADE DANISH HAND MODEL 100 PREBEN HOLM ERA FREEHAND SHAPED estate pipe . It has a FANTASTIC 360° RING GRAINED BLAST AROUND THE BOWL, and a PRISTINE plateau rim! This pipe has PROBABLY not been used more than 2 or 3 times , and t really isn't a single flaw to be seen on it, nor is t any real sign of use! The chamber walls are pristine and smooth, with most of the original coat still showing, the rim has no char or buildup, and the original stem is pristine, though the CROWNED BW stem mark is all but rubbed off, though the points of the crown are still visible (must have been lightly stamped to begin with, because the stem otherwise shows no wear AT ALL). The stampings are pristine and very crisp; this thing is FANTASTIC! I love the flow of the shape and the 360° of GORGEOUS RING GRAIN on this pipe (though I am biased, I'm a big Preben fan!). This pipe is stunning to look at, and the finish is both beautiful and feels GREAT in the hand. PREBEN HAD A WAY OF GETTING THE MOST OUT OF EVERY BLOCK, AND CHOSE HIS BRIAR WELL! This is an awesome example of the legendary Danish school of pipemaking, w each individual piece of briar determines the eventual shape of the pipe in the hands of a master carver, and Mr. Holm was certainly that! A great vintage pipe from a legendary name. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT EXAMPLE OF PREBEN'S WORK FROM HIS BEN WADE ERA, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK AT THIS ONE! But don't take my word.... the pictures speak for themselves. This one is sure to be an eminent example of how well-preserved estate pipes often smoke better than new ones. This pipe also comes with a custom pipe sock to protect your investment. Markings : On the bottom of the bowl is stamped BEN WADE over DANISH over HAND MODEL over 100 over MADE IN DENMARK. The stem has a quite worn CROWNED BW . All shank stampings are VERY crisp. Dimensions : 6-1/4” long, 2” tall, 1-13/16" wide, with a 15/16" chamber opening. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS TO PAY APPLICABLE SALES TAX All of my pipes have been refurbished to like new condition. I go the extra mile, so you can light it up as soon as it arrives, and enjoy that first smoke right away. Every pipe is rigorously inspected, and then sanitized and refurbished with the most meticulous care taken to restoring it to original condition whenever possible. Finally, the entire pipe is polished with Carnauba wax, to restore it to its original shine. Return Policy: I include many pictures from all angles, so that the buyer can see exactly what they have purchased. Before any refunds are issued, buyer must email me the reason within three days. I do not give partial refunds, but will issue a full refund (minus shipping costs) upon return of pipe within seven days in unsmoked, as shipped condition. While every attempt is made to prevent shipping damage, I will not issue a refund for shipping loss or shipping damage if insurance is not purchased.
