This is an ORIGINAL FIRST print poster (approx. 12 1/2" x 21", and printedprior to the shows) that was used to promote a series of shows featuring the Youngbloods, Blue Cheer & Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band. These shows took place July 27-30, 1967 at the historic Avalon Ballroom in SanFrancisco. This very popular psychelic sixties image, "SMILING HUN", was designed by Tom Glass, and is referred to as FD 73in the Family Dog series. This beautiful poster has been very carefully preserved for over forty years, and is in EXCELLENT condition...NM (no flaws, bright colors), and would frame beautifully.
