Attention: Valued Customers This is our last auction of theSpring!. We will be back in November with our full line of knives, buckles, and other fine items. This is an original Marble's Fieldcraft, made in Gladstone, Michigan, and it has a genuine stag carver style handle! And this knife is in factory mint condition, in an original Marble's box! The left side of the 3-3/4" blade is marked: "Marble's / Gladstone, MI. U.S.A." This knife was made in Gladstone, before production was moved offshore. The handle is genuine stag, carver style, with a beautiful color and grain. The knife measures 7-3/4" overall. The sheath is tough brown leather with "Marble's" on the face.. This k nife and sheath are in the old two-piece box with the bobcat on the lid. NOTE: Several years ago we bought the contents of the Marble's showroom at the factory in Gladstone, Michigan. Then we bought a number of other original Marble's prototype knives and axes from the factory in Gladstone, and later from George Brinkley, after he bought the Marble's knife operation from Craig Lauerman. As you know, Craig Lauerman owned (and still owns) the Marble's factory in Gladstone. We displayed these rare factory sample and prototype knives and won prizes at the Blade Show in Atlanta and at the American Edge Collectors Show in Chicago ( Best Of Show at that Chicago show!
