"Mint" Parker 61 Fountain Pen Nib Medium Italic This is a "Mint" Parker 61 Fountain Pen Nib. c. 1964-1982. It is a 14K gold nib designed for "Medium Italic" style writing. The imprint marked on the nib reads, "585 14K PARKER ENGLAND". As can be seen in the pictures, an Italic style nib is similar in shape to a stub style nib except that it has a straight horizontal cut combined with a sharper edge to the iridium. This combination allows for a distinctive style of writing enabling good crisp variations in line widths. Great for use as a replacement for an old or damaged nib...or if you are just looking to purchase a different and more expressive style of nib for your Parker 61 pen.
