If you collect Coca Cola advertising items, you’ll want to take a close look at these Coca Cola trading cards. This full set of 100 cards and 8 ‘caps’ was published by The Coca Cola Company in 1993 and is listed as SERIES ONE. On these 2.5-inch by 3.5-inch cards are reproductions of almost all of the major ‘players’ in the history of Coca Cola – the founders, first trademarks, calendars, paper signs, serving trays, delivery trucks, bottles, original artwork, posters, first cans, first soda fountain, first cooling machines and more! Above all, though, the wonderful magazine ads – done by artists such as Norman Rockwell, Hamilton King, Haddon Sundblom and others – are here! What a wonderful collection of ads – all in one place! We’ve shown many pictures here and below.The cards have a full explanation of the image shown on the reverse, as well as a Coca-Cola historical fact and trivia question, with answer. The details are wonderful – and would be helpful as a reference for the collector who already owns some of the vintage trays or ads. The collectable ‘bottle caps’ also included feature other Coke references, but are not described on the caps. They’re lovely, however, too, with nice bright colors and interesting images.
