Up for bid is a mint condition original M1918 experimental scabbard for the bolo bayonet knife of WWI. These scabbards were never put into field use but are for the Plumb bolo nearly always seen with the leather tipped canvas scabbard. These were made by LF + C and are dated 1918. If you collect US edged weapons, you need one of these for your WWI display. T is a very small chip and slight dent near the tip on one side, please see closeup. Scabbard remains in unissued/unused condition and rates an AS NEW. Buyer to include $6 shipping and handling for USPS priority shipping with delivery confirmation. Insurance is optional at the high bidders discretion and should only add a couple of dollars. My terms are a one week, no questions asked return of your money, less shipping if you should be unhappy with your purchase for any reason. I would ask that the item be returned in the same condition it was sent and that the buyer pay for return shipping costs. We accept PAYPAL, money orders and personal checks.
