A Minton Bute Shape Cup & Saucer , c.1816 Bone china. Decorated with a border of alternating flowers and cornucopias in dark blue with gilt leaves and a sharks tooth border. ~0~ The cup stands 2 1/4 inches high and measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The saucer measures 5 1/4 inches in diameter . ~0~ The bases of both pieces are marked with the hand-written mock Sevres mark and the pattern number, 877, in blue. ~0~ The decoration is in excellent, unworn condition. The saucer is sound but there is a tiny, almost invisible hairline crack to the cup rim, just above the handle.
