DETAILS: We are listing this Minton’s bone china dessert or luncheon plate at NO RESERVE with a starting bid of $9.99 . This plate is decorated with three blue and white pate-sur-pate panels by Albion Birks depicting classical maidens and cherubs. The panels are framed with thickly raised gold beaded designs on the rims. This plate is damaged and is sold AS IS in the condition as described below. Be sure and MARK/SIGNATURE: There is an appropriate gold stamped mark on the backside with a crown over a world globe with the words: MINTON’S TIFFANY & Co. NEW YORK MADE IN ENGLAND There is also a hand painted gold pattern number H2998. There are also various colorless impressed marks on the back including MINTONS and a year date code mark for 1919. Finally, this plate is signed three times on the front. One pate-sur-pate panel is signed ABirks and the other two panels are each signed AB . CONDITION: This plate is in damaged AS IS condition, but is free from cracks, crazing, and stains. The most significant condition issue is an old large chip to the front edge of the plate that was long ago glued back in place and touched up with gold paint. The old repair is poor and the gold touch-up paint has turned dark and ugly. Additionally, there is a chip on the backside to the gold foot rim. There are no visually obvious deep
