Minty Vintage Marklin 3103 HO Train Set and 5091 Supplementary Rail Track, W. Germany.The train pieces and track in these sets look brand new--I can't find any broken pieces or blemishes. When purchased, all the straight track was found in the 3103 set while all the curved track was found in the 5091 set. I am not sure of the actual original distribution of the track. There are 12 straight pieces of track, 14 curved pieces, and 2 Marklin 5122 intersecting pieces. One of the curved pieces has two wires soldered to contacts on the bottom with one wire having a small plug on the other end. Other than that, this train outfit shows no signs of use. The boxes are all solid with just minor staining and foxing. Since this set does not come with a transformer, I cannot test actual running characteristics.
