Offered is the nicest button I have offered in a long time. This is a rare antique brass button of a 3-D horse head mounted on a pierced and ornate square background. It measures 1-3/4" on the diagonal and has a brass loop shank. I have added some photographs to give you a better idea of its beauty -- this lighting also is a better representation of the color. This button does have some slight verdigris in the creases which gives it a nice patina indicative of its age. T is no backmark. It is in excellent condition.
