Hip and Mod Vintage Porcelain Salt and Pepper Shakers Description: These super hip set of vintage Japanese tear dropped shaped salt and pepper shakers will add a bit of zip to your mod kitchen or dinner table! Almost too cool to be used as shakers; display them like pottery or sculpture! Cork bottoms still present; small one for pepper; large one for salt. Shiny dark aqua; possible melamine . Just beautiful! Size: LARGE: 4" high; base is 1.5" across; top is 2/8" acrossSMALL: 3" high; base is 1.5" across; top is 2/8" across Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Cork plugs still intact. One cork plug is chipped. On close inspection--t are some very, very fine "cracks" in the glaze. Wuld not notice unless you were inspecting them. Manufacturer: Bottom reads : JAPAN (with a double crossed T symbol with CO under it in gold)Please check out my other vintage auctions and email if you would like more pictures.
