The German Made Argentine Mauser Knife Bayonet, Frog and Scabbard you are viewing are all original and in good condition. It features a hardwood/steel handle with a functioning lock pin. The blade is basically clean with the exception of a couple of very small nicks on the cutting edge 5 inches in from the tip. The steel cross guard and hooked quillon have light pitting which could be polished out. The ricasso bears the name of the maker, the knife serial number and you can still see the Argentine Crest. The steel scabbard has a matching serial number with the knife and other than some light pitting where it was in contact with the leather frog and a few dings, it is in good condition.
