Up for auction is a fabulous Model 66 Singer treadle sewing machine in a near-perfect ornate walnut cabinet. The machine itself is in excellent antique condition, good working order, and produces a very nice stitch qualit y (the last photo shows both the top and bottom of the stitch). The sewing machine is a Model 66 with the drop in rotary hook bobbin. The sewing machine has the beautiful Red Eye decals, which are all in excellent condition showing very minor wear, as you can see by the pictures. All of the metal (face plate, back plate, and the hand wheel) are nice and shiny, with minor pitting. The sewing machine and treadle base have been cleaned and lubricated and both move easily and freely. T are three storage drawers on each side plus a small tip-out drawer in the center. The wood and finish are in near excellent condition, with no scratches. All of the ornate wood work is in perfect condition. The treadle base is also in very nice condition -- shiney and the SINGER emblem is bright gold. The serial number in this machine is G0077719, which means it was produced in Elizabeth, NJ in 1923.
