Up for auction is an original antique "Ford The Universal Car" decal. This is a Meyercord Decalcomania window sign. I believe these were probably given to Ford dealers to put on the windows of their dealerships during the time of the Model T. This one has never been stuck, and is still on its original backing with its original see-through cover still intact. The decal is huge and measures approximately 38" by 12" and I included a Model T "Rubes" horn and E&J lamp in the photos for scale. All its original writing on the back is legible and contains what I believe is the date of 1912. The paper surrounding the decal is old and turning brown, and one corner has a little mouse damage, but the decal itself is complete and undamaged. Considering its around 100 years old, its in very good condition. This would be great mounted on a piece of glass and framed, but I never had the heart to stick it. I have never seen anything like this and have no idea of its value. If I don't sell it, I'll probably try to donate it to the Henry Ford museum. The horn, lamp, and reflector are not included in this auction. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank You and ! Keyword: Unobtanium
