This listing is for an awesome 21-inch modern Cissy doll by Madame Alexander dressed in an all-black cocktail outfit. All of the pieces she is wearing are original Alexander items made for the modern Cissy except for the jewelry. The "little black dress" is from the trunk set "A Day in the Life of Cissy." It is very formfitting and features a chic draping across the front (shown in the pics) and a zipper and hook-and-eye closure in the back. The dress is fully lined and bears the Cissy tag. The black pantyhose, formal black gloves, and black suede pumps (also tagged Cissy) are from the same trunk set. The darling cocktail hat, which is hard to find, is part of an accessory group for Cissy that came in a black and white hatbox. The rhinestone jewelry, consisting of a wide bracelet with a clasp and a pair of dangling earrings, is really dazzling. Everything is in wonderful shape--including the doll. She is jointed at the head, shoulders, waist, hips, and knees. Her head and arms are vinyl, and the remainder of her body is hard plastic. The doll was bought nude and bald quite a few years back, and she is wearing a removable blonde wig (not Alexander). Her makeup is exquisite, and her chocolate brown sleep eyes work well.
