Manufactured by Specialty Defense Systems, the MOLLE II Large Assault Pack can be attached directly to the MOLLE II main pack or worn as a stand alone patrol pack. Featuring a 1700+ cubic inch interior capacity, this pack features a dual-zipper large main pocket, a dual-zipper front cargo pocket, and a small 6" x 10" flat Velcro-close document/small items pocket in front of that. Inside the cargo pocket is another small utility pocket. The pack also features an exterior slot pocket designed to work with hydration systems between the back of the pack (under the shoulder straps) with Velcro-close tube flaps for either left- or right-sided hydration integration. The main compartment has attachment rings designed for a radio pouch, and another interior pocked designed to hold a rigid plastic panel to keep objects inside from digging into the wearer's back. MOLLE attachment points along the padded shoulder straps, as well as on the front, sides, and bottom of the pack. Quick-release shoulder straps, a sternum strap, and an adjustable waist strap make this pack feel very secure, while an integrated webbing carry handle makes for easy lifting.
