Beautiful vintage Monet Christmas trinket box - an enameled gingerbread house! This little collectible trinket or jewelry box is about 1-1/2" long x 1-1/2" tall x 1-1/2" deep at longest, tallest and deepest points. It is metal with a gold toned finish, and covered in enamel - the house is light brown or tan with a pink cast, the "snow" on the roof is off white, and it has red and white enamel candy cane themed accents. Red, green and purple rhinestones add extra sparkle! The magnetic top of the house opens to reveal a pink-enameled compartment that is about 5/8" deep - perfect for a ring, earrings or other small trinket. The underside is signed "Monet" in an oval cartouche. Condition: This vintage box is in new, unused condition. It is in excellent condition with no flaws that I can see.
