THE MONSTER RUPERT BOOK BY MARY TOURTEL 1949 Search My parents are downsizing and over the coming weeks will be reluctantly putting their entire collection of Rupert Bear Annuals and Facsimiles up for sale, which they took many years to complete, only buying the best they could find. Being collectors any KNOWN faults will be high lighted rather than not mentioned,so please . We are happy to combine P & P for multiple purchases but any item/s sold over �50 must be by Special Delivery for extra protection. Keep me as a favourite seller so as not to miss any annuals you may need for your collection U.K Bidders only please A good example of this Monster Rupert Book believed to have been published in 1949 by Sampson Low,Marston & Co.Ltd and printed by Purnell & Sons Ltd. It is believed to be a re-print of the extremely rare original published in the 1930's The cloth spine is complete and un-damaged The covers are fairly clean with some edge wear and bumped corners. There is a small graze on the front cover with a tiny picture to the top right hand corner. Inside is exceptionally clean with only an odd finger mark,no foxing apart from a tiny bit at the end. The story pages are a nice creamy white with no scribbles or colouring in .The picture to paint has been done and this book belongs to has been completed. As is to be expected there
