1996 MontBlanc Writers Edition Alexandre Dumas Ballpoint (WITH INCORRECT SIGNATURE), New in Box, Serial # 06323/16000. Dumas wrote nearly 300 Novels, including "The Three Musketeers", and "The Count of Monte Cristo". Created from the finest of materials, it has a mysterious shimmering appearance which is set off by a dark brown precious resin top. Beyond this, every detail emphasises the personality of Alexandre Dumas: the gold-plated clip with its distinctive sword symbol and the gold-coloured signature on the cap. The first specimens of the Writers Edition Alexandre Dumas that were made erroneously carried the signature of his father - a mistake that has made this version a rare collector's item. This is one of them!!!! Book-Style Box is imperfect. Cushion on left side is slightly pulled away (see picture). Also, hinges are loose. When handled gently, book opens and closes properly, but hinges do pull out (also shown in photos) NO RESERVE!!!! Pennsylvania Residents add 6% sales tax.
