I am a senior doctor at a major hospital in Boston. I bought this pen as a present for my mother. But I thought that I had better offer it to my wife, first (to be safe). My wife was afraid she would lose it (as I knew she would be). So then I was free to give it to my mother, but somehow my mother found out that my wife had rejected the gift first. She threw a small fit about not wanting "hand me downs." So now I have no one left to give it to. This is a remarkably classy pen, made with a real pearl, with Garbo's signature as well as the mont blanc lettering on the ring. No one has written even a single letter with it. The outer, cardboard box has some tiny scuff marks on it, like boxes get when they sit on a shelf for a while. The inner, leattte magnetic box is pristine, with a Mont Blanc clasp. It comes with its original paperwork, including a booklet marked "international service certificate." This is a fantastic holiday gift for those who want to economize without compromise. Note also that the fake ones come in cheap little boxes. Ebay item # 270302200181 (you can look it up), is a fake one that sold for over $439.99. By "Buy it now" price is cheaper.
