This auction is for a Montegrappa 'Miya' Fountain Pen - Midnight Blue. This Montegrappa Miya is in perfect condition, and has been thoroughly cleaned and polished. The pen is as good as new, and is great to use as an everyday fountain pen, or an excellent addition to your collection. It was purchased in 2006, and has been lightly used. The pen retails for $595.00. Several parts of the pen, including the clip, ring, section, and bottom part of the cap are made from 925 sterling silver. The pen is hallmarked in two places - on the cap, and on the section (pictured). The pen features an incredible 18ct gold, duo-tone, fine nib, marked: Montegrappa ITALY FThe pen measures 13.4cm (5 1/4 inches) with its cap on and 15.4cm (6 inches) when posted. It can be filled by inserting ink cartridges or by using a piston converter.
