Printed in 1965. Signed and dated on the bottom right hand side in pencil. 26" x 40" Image is 20" x 34". 50 were made. This is one of my favorites. Beautiful orange sunset reflecting off the water. This print is AAA+++ shape. Clean around the border except a couple of orange paint spots on the outside border. The inserts are shipped with the print about my father. Take a look at the other prints I have posted. Make a offer on the AAA print.BIOGRAPHY:This biography from the Archives of AskART:Howard Bradford was born in Toronto, Canada on July 14th, 1919 and moved, at a young age, to Los Angeles, California. He spent his youth raising chickens and growing dahlias, the influence of which can be seen in his later paintings. In his 20's Howard was inspired to become an artist by his mentor Elwood Decker.After serving in the Army during World War II, Howard took advantage of the opportunity provided by the GI bill and enrolled in Chouinard Art Institute. While at Chouinard, Howard met Dorothy Bowman and they were later married. The two studied together at the Jepson Art Institute and San Francisco Art Institute. Howard and Dorothy settled in Big Sur and became a part of the thriving art scene in the late 1950's and '60's.
