Very Rare Moorcroft Phoenix Vase in the 99/8 Shape Designed and signed under glaze by Rachel Bishop herself This highly sought after vase was produced In 1997 as indicated by the HC year cipher It is decorated in breathtaking fashion with a peacock Its stunning tail feathers wrapped Flamboyantly around the base of the vase The Phoenix vase was also used on the front cover Of the Moorcroft publication ‘The Phoenix Years’ Which if you look in my ‘Other Items’ You will see that I also have listed for sale The vase itself is in perfect, pristine, unmarked condition Having being kept in a display cabinet since being purchased At James Macintyre’s in the Victorian Quarters in Leeds, w hich, as every dedicated Moorcroft aficionado knows Is a veritable paradise for collectors of beautiful objet d’art? And as you can see from the photograph of the base There are no red dots or silver lines that would indicate That this is anything but a perfect first quality piece There are no cracks, crazing, chips, restoration or any other Defect that would mar your appreciation of this beautiful object As is indicated by the 8 in 99/8 the vase is 8” [200mm] high and is 3.62” [92mm] in diameter at its widest point It will make an amazing addition to any Moorcroft collection Or it would alternatively make a wonderful Christmas present
