This Fabulous Moorcroft design was only available for one year during 1999, by Jeanne Macdougall it is the beautiful and colorful California Strelitzia depicting the foliage of the Bird of Paradise. This one was bought by me about 10 years ago as a second, but try as I might I have never been able to find even the smallest defect. This stunning piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or crazing to the glaze. The Strelitzia design is quite rare, and I believe this is the only example of it in a lamp to be made available on the internet at this time. Height 9 and 3/4 inches including plinth but excluding fitting, circumference 14 inches at its widest point.
