Up for auction is this beautiful antique spelter lamp and sculpture made by Auguste Moreau. The lamp stands 29" high and features a young lad holding a harp in one hand and a three-stemmed leafy branch with three equally beautiful frosted glass tiered floral shades. The candle shaped bulbs with 1" bases could be too large for this lamp but their illumination is shown in the photograph when lit. The spelter lamp and sculpture have a gold-leaf painted finish. The electrical wiring also appears to be updated. The tiered wood base of the lamp measures 7 1/4" in diameter and has been signed by Moreau as seen in the photo. Weighs 11 lbs. before packaging. A truly great find for the collector of antique figural lamps, especially signed lamps or for the buyer who wants a beautiful Auguste Moreau signed spelter and sculptured lamp with equally beautiful floral tiered shades that will be the center of attention in his or her home or office.
