Morris Minor 1098cc. Katie Morris has been in the back of my workshop hidden for everso, everso long, terribly missing the sunshine. With a loaned battery, after years of dry languishing, she fired into life and the other weekend I drove her out. Katie is sold for RESTORATION only. In many respects she is in tidy condition as you may see from the photos. She is reputed to have a rebuilt engine and gearbox, and certainly I have every reason to consider this correct. Her brakes and clutch are free and operational, and a good deal of work has obviously been done to her in the past, however, she has been sat with me for years without attention and now requires a good going through; for example I see the usual bypass hose has perished. Other than that, she runs beautifully and is really willing to go; she starts willingly on the button, and revs cleanly. The worst part of her is the driver's side front suspension which has failed, and drooped. Her tyres pump up, but I am not sure they will stay up. She should make a sound basis for what should be a lovely car. Having said that upon inspection there will be an amount of repair required to the floor area underneath adjoining both sills and around the front r/h suspension mounting point, though under the carpets inside, the floor looks lovely.
