This is a very nice Morse 8 Transistor Radio - Model 112 - made in Ryuku, Japan. I know very little about the Morse brand but I know it made in the early 60s because it has the Civil Defense markings (very faint). The Cardinal Red case is in good condition with some minor scratches. There are no cracks or chips in the plastic and the metal grille is bright and shiny - no dings or dents. The radio is your standard radio from that period, measuring 4.25 x 2.5 x 1.25. It uses a basic 9 volt battery. The radio now works. I replaced two electrolytic caps which were dry. The On-Off/Volume switch works but it does not make a The variable capacitor seems clean in its movement across the AM band. The leather case is in pretty good shape with some of the stitching missing on side. Bottom line - this radio is nice and it works. Feel free to ask questions. Shipping in included. Thanks for looking.
