Listing & potential buyer Alert: I will be out of state on business and will not be able to pack & ship a radio until Saturday, February 16. THIS RADIO SELLS AS-IS. This two tone radio picks up the strong local stations well with its six tube chassi s (hear the video). The photo of the underside shows the many new components that were installed (including 8 new resistors). In addition, a new extra long power cord and two NOS tubes (14Q7 and 35A5). The backboard required new wooden pegs that are between the inside of the backboard and the metal chassis . The backboard is not 100%. Although the radio plays well on a few local stations, it is obvious that the radio is missing a few stations on the high end o f the dial scale. The radio could use further adjustment. The grill cloth is black with musical notes. Please look at all photos carefully as the overall appearance if the radio is good, but the body exhibits many minor distractions. The body, chassis, and knobs were cleaned. Due to my "on the road" occupation packing and shipping takes place on Saturdays only. ******
