This beautiful set, service for 8, has never been used, it is like new! It has been displayed in my corner cupboard for over twenty years. The lovely shell pattern, is a colonial reproduction of an 1820's Winterthur museum pattern. It is the older pattern with the matte gold edging, perfect for the antique or colonial home, a home at the shore, or for anyone who loves the sea. I am listing it at a very reasonable price, without a reserve, so that someone else may enjoy these beautiful dishes at a fraction of the cost of buying them individually. I saw the soup tureen alone, without the platter, listed elsew at $699! And a 5pc place setting listed at $189! This service includes eight 5pc place settings (dinner plate, bread & butter, dessert, tea cup and saucer), 8 rimmed soup bowls, a soup tureen with ladle and serving platter. If you love blue, the sea and seashells, you will love this dinnerware! Good Luck bidding!
