This is one of only 5000 copies, first edition, first printing, signed by the author and numbered. I have been able to find less than 5 available for sale ANYW online - this is a truly scarce and unique book.Privately published in 1983, Mountain Ways by Gene Aiken profiles the town & surrounds of Gatlinburg, Tennessee in rich detail. This book is perfect for genealogical research or for a collector of rare & unique books. It includes HUNDREDS of photographs. This copy in in great condition. The binding is solid and the endpapers are completely intact. The former owner made two inscriptions and the jacket is a little beat up (see photos), but otherwise looks great. Mountain Ways is an extremely scarce find you're not likely to stumble across again anytime soon. Enjoy!
