Mozambique - Endangered Butterflies on Stamps - 8 Stamp Sheet 13A-950 This is a beautiful sheet of 8 stamps, issued in 2012 in Mozambique, featuring butterflies on the verge of extinction. Each stamp features a threatened or endangered species of butterfly, including the Myrtle's Silverspot (Speyeria zerene myrtleae), the Blackburn's Sphinx Moth (Manduca blackburni), the Queen Alexandra's Birdwing (Ornithoptera alexandrae), the Luzon Peacock Swallowtail (Papilio chikae), the Fender's Blue (Icaricia icarioides fenderi), the Lange's Metalmark Butterfly (Apodemia mormo langei, the Homerus Swallowtail (Pterourus homerus), and the Wallace's Golden Birdwing (Ornithoptera croesus).
