This auction if for an MTH Lionel No. 400E,Steam Locomotive, Gray, Standard Ga. #10-1154-1,NIB, No Reserve. The MTH stock number is #10-1154-1. This is MTH’s Contemporary Version. It is Gray with Brass Trim. This Locomotive is in like-new condition. It was purchased new by the Consignor but never used. We tested it on our test track and it made sounds and ran great. Because it has been in storage for a long time, we took it to the local hobby shop (Hobbytown USA , Frederick) and had a new battery put in and had all the functions checked. Everything works great. This is a quality remake of a famous Lionel engine. This engine features a Precision Engineered Pittman Motor, an Operating ProtoSmoke System, a stamped steel body, metal wheels and axles, operating metal latch couplers, die-cast metal frame, and is equipped with Proto-Sound 2.0 with Digital Command System featuring speed and light control, diagnostic memory, and freight yard ProtoEffects. This engine comes with operating instructions. This engine is approximately 20“ long. This is a beautiful, heavy, high quality locomotive.
