I am downsizing my studio a bit and since I have 2 other E-Mu Proteus series synths, this one is up for grabs. The Proteus FX has 512 voices and many more programming effects than the more popular Proteus 1, 2 & 3. This unit sounds great and has a lot more voices than the Proteus 1 & 2. The standard 128 voice per bank convention appears in this series for the first time in the E-Mu line. One of the most under rated units out there! The voices are mostly sampled with the exception of the synth pads. A piano is a real sampled piano, a cello is a real sampled cello and the range of each sampled instrument is observed.
