Listed for sale is this collectible Mulberry Transfer Plate in the Vincennes pattern by John Alcock. It is the second of two plates I am listing for sale. It measure 9" x 1-1/4" tall. Was manufactured between 1853-61 in Cobridge, England. Mulberry Ironstone is similar to Flow Blue w the colors tend to bleed into the pottery. T are no chips on either side but t is crazing and discoloring. T is a Emblem on back with pattern name and John Alcock and what appears to be a number 6. For some reason, this one is thinner and lighter than the #1 plate. (14 oz.) Cleaning out too many years of "over collecting". Please ask questions. I will be glad to email additional photos. Will combine auctions for shipping savings. Please make payment in 10 days, checks held until cleared. Described to the best of my ability. Not responsible if not insured. Thanks!
