Another contribution from my garage time machine: Here for auction are 14 McKean Models 3 ACF covered hopper kits. These are from the early 90's, but they were ground breaking kits then, and they are still not bad. Yes, the old McKean Models has been out of business for years, but the tooling and paint on these models is great. This auction includes (2) Chicago, Burlington & Quincy (CB&Q - Burlington Route), (2) Norfolk and Western, (4) Southern Railway, (3) Sterling Salt, (1) Ashland Chemical, (1) Columbian Chemicals, and (1) Pennsylvania. You will need some time and plastic cement to get these little puppies together, but they make good looking cars. The prototype cars are typically used for any granular dry type material, plastic pellets, flour, wheat, soda ash, etc. They are very common on North American railroads. Please feel free to ask any questions.
