Here is a great green matte (cucumber green like glaze) on a nice shaped arts and crafts piece of Muncie Pottery from Indiana. The vase has a nice bottle shape and a small hole (company made) on the back bottom area. This was probably done to wire a lamp or for drainage. The glaze on this piece is spectacular (see pics of the richness and deep green colors and how the glaze has pooled on the bottom). The vase stands about 7 and 1/4" tall and is widest at the bottom at about 4" wide. The bottom is marked 2 or 3 B which is how a lot of the Muncie vases were marked. The condition is very fine with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Don't miss out on this one if you collect green matte arts and crafts pottery, Muncie, or good American pottery pieces!
