Coordinates: 67° 48' N / 23° 6' E Date of find: 1906Type: IVA Octahedrite This beautiful piece from the Muonionalusta Meteorite polished & then etched with fusion crust. Mirror polished piece, amazing polishing work! Great surface! This specimen is very interesting in that is has small etched structure , mirror polish and fusion crust. All these attributes make this slice very collectable. The weight is 147.6 gram's The Muonionalusta Meteorite was first found in 1906 near Kiruna, Norrbotten , Sweden . This meteorite fell in the Artic Circle making it extremely difficult to find and collect. It is extremely rare with almost no specimens in private collectors hands and most of the find on display in museums. The total find to date is unknown because t were several mass find by different hunters. This is a group IVA iron meteorite classified as fine octahedrite and has a very beautiful Widmanstatten pattern, much better than other known es with very saught after display label! and combined shipping.$Free anyw in lower 48 USA. $12.50 International Shipping
