LIKE NEW, NEVER USEDBEEN IN STORAGE SINCE PURCHASEThis auction is for one mint in box Sigma ceramic napkin holder, featuring Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog. On the front, Miss Piggy is dressed in a white gown with purple gloves, and holding a bouquet of purple flowers. A ring of Kermit heads are all around her. On the back of the napkin holder are more unpainted Kermit heads among what I would describe as an 'art nouveau' relief. The bottom has original Sigma adhesive tag.Sigma produced a number of amazing hand-painted Muppet household items back in the late 1970s-early 1980s, but this napkin holder is one of the more rare, hard-to-find pieces. It does NOT have the original box; however, it comes with an original green Sigma tag (not pictured).This is a beautiful piece, and it's in near mint to very good condition with no chips or cracks. However, there ARE what is to be considered minor manufacturing defects in the ceramic itself, or uneven paint near the base. See photos. (Therefore, I will say it is "as-is." I hold NO responsibility in what has happened in the manufacturing of anything I sell.)
