Up for your review and consideration is this beautiful Vintage Murano glass statue of the Virgin Mary praying. The colors are simply gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. My parents bought this gorgeous piece in Florence in the 60's. It would make a wonderful gift for a christening or any occasion for that matter. It is done using the sommerso technique. A clear glass incases a red colored glass with blue overtones. It is approximately 10" 3/4 tall and is in excellent condition. These pieces I will be listing were part of my Mother's estate. I've had these another soon to be listed since the year 2000 but it's time to let go and find a new home. I put a small blue light in the back to make the colors glow and stand out which is how I had them in my curio to display. Please ask any questions before bidding.
