You are bidding on a fantastic, Murano, Alfredo Barbini, art glass ashtray. It is folded down on three sides. The glass is very thick. The bottom is a pinkish/lavender shade and the top is a soft, pastel pink with controlled golden infused bubbles across the surface. Tiny bits of gold are also scattered in the background behind the bubbles. I have taken photos inside and out so you can see the difference in the colors when placed in different environments. The ashtray is from the 1950's era. It measures approximately 7 inches wide. It stands approximately 3 inches high. The ashtray is in nice condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few scratches on the base where it rests. ( Due to the age this is to be expected.) It also has some green felt tabs stuck on the bottom to retard scratching of tabletops. They can be easily removed if desired. This could be used as a cigarette tray,candy/nut container or just sit alone as an object d' arte. Please Email me if you have any questions.
