Murano Campanella Salviati Barovier Style Millefiori Art Glass Courtier Figurine I just purchased this Murano art glass figure / sculpture from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The piece has a striking modernist design showing an Italian / French courtier / courtesan with stylized period attire. The figure is characteristic of the designs produced by numerous Murano and Venetian vetrerias (Salviati / G. Toffolo / Barovier & Toso / etc), I suspect this unsigned piece may have been done by Campanella. The figure is beautifully executed with fine gold foil covering the molded head with fine facial features, torso and arms. The millefiori skirt is decorated with tightly arranged multicolor cannes. The figure measures 8 1/8" high, 5 �" wide and 3 1/8" deep. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage or noted wear.
