Small Dove Murano Thimble Handblown glass from the Island of Murano near Venice Italy. The Italians use this little bird to decorate many items, espescially around Christmas they make glass candlabras and ornaments adorned with many of these birds. When I was in Italy, many years ago, I had a glass factory in Murano, use the very same bird for my thimbles. No two are exactly alike as they are completely free hand blown using no form at all. You will not find my Murano thimbles anywhere else. I HAVE FOUR LEFT & THEN THERE WILL BE NO MORE. 1 3/4" x 3/4" Look in my store for more exciting thimbles.
