MURANO set of 5 unique handmade Christmas Tree glass ornaments. These ornaments either stand up by themselves on base or can be laid flat, very versatile decorations-each weigh in at 1 # each. Each bears the makers stamp-Murano made in Italy. These art glasswares are made by an ancient technique of fusing murrina canes of glass to come up with a one of a kind, each unique in kaleidoscope type design. These are a one of a kind set of ornaments. 4 are clear glass with slightly raised ornaments (fused murrina glass cane} and copper colored flakes in the backside of the ornament catching the light and giving a tinsel like effect. One of the ornaments are clear with a green branch effects. This hammock of trees are 6 1/2" to 6 3/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide x 1" base......very sturdy!!!!!!! These can either be a centerpiece effect by placing in a group or a stand alone type effect by using just one. Beautiful on a fireplace, catches the light brillantly or the effect of a candle or lights on the trees. These will make the perfect decoration, paperweight, or like my husband says the perfect item to simulate a football pass!!!!!!! Each of these unique trees have a few tiny air bubbles within the glass, giving a great depth to these ornaments.
