Murano Sommerso Glass Biomorphic Bowl/Ashtray C.1965 C.1965 Murano Glass Biomorphic Dish/Ashtray This is a wonderfully simple & elegant piece of mid-twentieth century Italian Sommerso (Italian for "submerged") Art Glass from Murano. It is a biomorphic space-age geode ash tray or bowl, circa 1955-65, with an interior of green glass encased in yellow, then an outer body of clear. Size It measures 10.5cm (4.25") long. Condition Very good – there is only age-related scratching, with a nibble and a fleabite to the upper edge. Delivery It will be very securely wrapped & protected. Domestic insured for £3 – E.U., £8 the U.S. & Canada - £11, Aus & NZ £13. I will combine postage on everything you buy.
