MURANO/VENETIAN GLASS URANIUM HORSE by G. D. FURLAN. Glass Master Furlan Giuseppe (1928 - 1999) estabilished the firm G.D. Furlan in 1962. At the age of 12 he begins to work as an apprentice in the glass factories of Murano and, at the age of 20, becomes a Glass Master. He has worked for the glass factories Gino Cenedese & Alfredo Barbini. Today his son Massimo continues the tradition. . A gorgeous quality Sculpture of a laying Horse in Uranium glass by Furlan. Possesses original label. Dated circa 1960's. height: 16cms, width: 18 x 7cms, weight: 1200gms. THIS ITEM IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (end of tail is finished rough). Check out my other items !
