Murgunstrumm and Others is a collection of horror short stories by author Hugh B. Cave . It was released in 1977 by Carcosa in an edition of 2,578 copies of which the 597 copies, that were pre-ordered, were signed by the author and artist. Please ask any questions before bidding. I try to describe these books to the best of my ability but only you know what aspects are important to you. I happily combine shipping so check out my other auctions for more Science Fiction and Fantasy books. Many are vintage, rare and/or out of print and can be very hard to find. This is a non-smoking household. Shipping: If you would like to combine multiple items to save on shipping then just bid for/buy those items and then ask for a total. A few of my auctions require immediate payment. If you would like to combine them with my other auctions then you can either pay for them then and I will refund your shipping costs, if applicable, back through PayPal, or you can drop me a message and I will go in and remove that requirement from that/those listing. I will pack everything up, figure in the actual shipping costs and send you an invoice. Single hardcovers and small numbers of paperbacks are shipped wrapped in non-waxed, 100% recycled, butcher paper and then placed in a bubble mailer. Paper is placed between books, if applicable, to prevent them sticking together during shipment. Large numbers of books or books that are too large to go into a bubble mailer are wrapped and boxed for shipment. Feedback. I sometimes leave strange feedback. I return all feedback that is given. However, I find that the usual Great Bidder, A+++++, Highly recommended!! stuff gets boring. So I change things up on occasion and leave feedback that is, well, unusual and/or humorous. I encourage all of my buyers to do the same. I do not do usually this to buyers that have low feedback ratings because factual feedback comments are often more important to them. If you want to guarantee that I leave you a strange or off the wall comment then leave me one as well. Most of my comments have something to do with popular Science Fiction movies and books. No insulting, obscene or personal comments are given, just fun and unusual ones. About my books. These books came from the personal collection of a local librarian. She took very good care of her books. Most of her books are in wonderful shape and many are first editions. She must have loved Science Fiction and Fantasy stories (especially those by female authors) as they accounted for the vast majority of her collection. I do not know what happened to her. I wish I did. I do know that her books had been packed up, rather haphazardly, and stored away in dozens of large moving boxes at a local storage facility. A few books suffered page damage due to being stored on edge with other books piled on top. Some were "bent" due to being only half supported and then more piled on. I can't believe that the person who took such loving care of her books would pack them away in this manner, stuffed into every corner and crevice of a cardboard box then tossed without care upon other such boxes. I can not imagine the cause of such obviously hurried packing. Whatever the case, the contents of the unit were then later auctioned off. I'm sure most of you have seen the storage auction programs on TV. It was something like that. This is where I come in. I am friends of the person who won that auction and was then faced with the task of finding homes for literally thousands of books. It was not something he looked forward to. Many of the first boxes of books he liquidated went to buyers who then turned around and sold them to local thrift stores or went to recycle because the books were "too old" to sell at such establishments.
