MURPHY COMBAT, USA, c. 1986-88 11 1/4" MURPHY REPRODUCTION MURPHY COMBAT KNIFE With 5 3/4" saber ground clip blade, brightly finished, with all original polish. One piece cast aluminum handle with integral guard and birds head shaped pommel, with "MURPHY COMBAT" stamped on one side and "U.S.A." stamped on the other side. This is not an original knife, but a reproduction of the original knife made between 1986-1988 by David Murphy, Jr. (who is now also deceased) using the same molds that his father used during W.W.II. The high quality thick leather sheath was made by Ruana Knife Works. It is of thick leather both sown and riveted and is made of light tan leather with a keeper strap and is also in mint condition.
