Murphy SAD 94L Vintage Radio / Wireless Set. Similar to the previous one I sold, but this is the MW/LW model. Generally in good condition given the age of this set. There are some issues, the main one being that the long waveband is inoperative, but medium wave is working fine. Also, the dial illumination is not working, which may just need a replacement bulb. I think that the dial plate may be refinished. Crucially for a bakelite set the case is in excellent condition; no cracks, and even almost no very fine scuffs. For those unfamiliar with a set of this vintage please note that it needs an aerial in order to operate, and ideally an earth. Just a metre or so of wire for the aerial is fine to receive a few stations if you are not going to use it daily in earnest. Being mains powered I have to post the usual warning that if you have limited electrical knowledge please ask someone who has to assist with connection of the aerial and earth.
