Museum Quality Cast of Dinosaur Skin Impression (Species Indeterminate, probably Hadrosaur) Hell Creek Formation Upper Cretaceous Approx. 65 million years old Eastern Wyoming Dinosaur skin impressions are a rare form of trace fossils. This detailed cast is an exceptionally fine example, showing distinct patches of pebble-like scales from both the inside and outside of the dinosaur's hide. The dinosaur that left it was probably a bipedal plant eating dinosaur called a hadrosaur or "duck-billed" dinosaur. It was carefully cast in high-strength gypsum cement and hand painted to simulate the natural rock color. See ruler in photo for scale. This would make a great addition to anyone's fossil collection, and a great conversation piece and educational tool. It includes felt pads on the bottom and identification label. Low starting bid and no reserve. Buyer to pay $4.95 Parcel Post shipping in the United States, or 6.50 for Priority Mail or Fed Ex Ground. Insurance is included with FedEx; add 1.50 for insurance if desired with Parcel Post or Priority Mail.Payment by check, money order, or PayPal accepted. Thanks!
