Museum Quality Cast of Cambropallas Trilobite Species: Cambropallas telesto Lower Cambrian Approx. 560 million years old Djbel Ougrat, Morocco, Africa Trilobites were a large group of marine arthropods that thrived in ancient oceans long before dinosaurs appeared on earth. Most were only an inch or two long. However, this fine specimen was cast produced from a well-preserved, giant African trilobite with named Cambropallas telesto which had an enormous head shield and is over 6 inches long, even with the partly curled tail (it would be about 7.5 inches if stretched flat). It was carefully cast in high-strength gypsum cement and meticulously hand painted to replicate a natural appearance. It includes felt pads on the bottom and full identification label. It would make a great addition to any fossil collection and perfect gift for any science or nature lover. Low starting bid and no reserve.
